VTB Bank’s IFRS net profit rises to 87 bln rbl in July–September
MOSCOW, Oct 27 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s second biggest bank VTB rose to 87 billion rubles in July–September from 85.5 billion rubles in the previous quarter, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Dmitry Pyanov, member of the executive board, said on Wednesday.
He added that in January–September, the net profit more than quadrupled on the year to 257.6 billion rubles.
Spending on reserves amounted to 24 billion rubles in July–September after 72 billion rubles in the same period of 2020, and to 78 billion rubles in January–September after 185.9 billion rubles.
The corporate loan portfolio increased by 6% to 9.865 trillion rubles as of September 30, the retail portfolio by 15.9% to 4.471 trillion rubles.
